Messi Absent in Barcelona vs Malaga Because Third Child Born

Lionel Messi did not strengthen Barcelona in a duel against Malaga at Estadio Larosaleda on Saturday (10/3) because the third child had just born.

Previously Messi is called absent in Barcelona duel versus Malaga for personal reasons. Not long ago, Messi uploaded a picture of baby hands and hands of adults with black and white in his instagram account.

"Welcome Ciro Thank you God for everything is perfect, Mom and all are in good condition We are very happy," Messi said in his Instagram account.

Messi and Antonella Roccuzzo previously had two children. The first child was named Thiago who was five years old and a second child named Mateo who was two years old.

The absence of Messi in the Barcelona squad is for the first time this season. In the previous 27 games, Messi 26 times down as a core player and once played as a substitute when a duel against Espanyol on 4 February.

Currently Barcelona is at the top of the standings with a score of 69 points, eight points ahead of Atletico Madrid who is in second position.

After missing Malaga's opponent, Messi's presence is expected to be Barcelona in an important duel against Chelsea on Wednesday (14/3). Barcelona's duel against Chelsea in the second leg of the Champions League last 16 is a life-and-death duel for both teams.

In the first leg, Messi scored a goal so that Barcelona can close the game with a 1-1 draw.
