Preseason tests at the Losail Circuit on 1-3 March to be the final test of the MotoGP participants The whole team was prepared all-out to achieve maximum results when the first series was held mid next month.
One of the most predictable MotoGP teams is the Yamaha Movistar Team. Especially in previous MotoGP preseason tests, Yamaha has not found the right setting for the bike.
No wonder the two riders namely Maverick Vinales and Valentino Rossi complained each other's motors. Rossi complained about the performance of electronic devices and Vinales on the chassis.
Ironically on the last test in Thailand both have difficulty. This is not denied by the manager of Yamaha, Massimo Meregalli.
"Rossi is actually very happy with the new bike, but he is suffering with electronic devices, while Vinales can not make the bike after his desire," said Meregalli as reported by GPone.
"But I believe both are very happy with the new engine and the speed that YZR-M1 displays," he added.
Differences Rossi and Vinales
If you look at the differences between Rossi and Vinales in understanding the M1 motor, how does the Yamaha team react to it? Meregalli explained that this is not a problem. Because, since last year two drivers always have different views.
"We can go both ways.Since last year we took development in two different directions and we can do the same now.It is often important to sort the small details, because you feel the need to step back and finish everything.I headed to Qatar with a little worries, but may also occur on different paths, with different temperatures and asphalt, "Meregalli said.
"Three years ago, after a pre-season test in Qatar, everyone said that the M1 project was over and a revolution was needed. What happened that year? We won the title," Meregalli concluded.
